Description of Process for this Submission
During summer 2023 I was fortunate to have an opportunity to print at Tipoteca Italiana Fondazione in Cornuda, Italy as a visiting artist for a short time. "Tipoteca Etna" is one of two pieces I made during this visit to Tipoteca. Tipoteca Etna is a type specimen sheet--albeit perhaps not in the usual way--using the Etna typeface from the collection of Tipoteca Italiana Fondazione. This type measures at 30 ciceros, and dates from the 1930s and was designed by Meneghello e Belluzzo. 4-color letterpress print; 50 x 70 cms.
